Barium Atomic Number

Barium is a naturally occurring alkaline metalloid element with atomic symbol Ba, atomic number 56, and atomic weight 137 that is only found in combination with other elements, typically barite (barium sulfate) and witherite (barium carbonate), or chemicals. There are seven naturally occurring isotopes of barium: barium-130, barium-132, barium-134, barium-135, barium-136, barium-137, and barium-138. Isotopes are two or more forms of an element. Isotopes differ from each other according to their mass number.
